Please take part

What is actually happening on the production floor. The same question set goes to sake, shochu, craft sake and Japanese wine producers. Everyone who takes part receives the aggregate results before publication.

How your answers are handled

Answers are processed statistically. No business name or individual name is ever published in identifiable form. The name field is used only to check for duplicate responses and to send results back, and is removed from anything published.

What gets published is aggregate figures by industry and scale, plus free-text excerpts edited so that no individual can be identified. Any category with too few responses to stay anonymous is merged into a larger one or withheld.

You can stop partway through. If you want a submitted response withdrawn, contact the address below and we will remove it.

All input happens on the Google Form. This site has no input fields of its own. For questions, please use the email address below.

Producers outside Japan are not surveyed this time. One organisation ballot per business; there is no limit on individual ballots. When both come from the same business, the gap between a rule existing and a rule being used becomes visible.
