sakejump plans and runs events for Japanese drinks end to end. Wakate no Yoake, a festival of makers; Konsai, an open street celebration; and SAKE LEADERS SUMMIT, where the industry debates its future. Three events of different character, each creating a new point of contact between drinkers and sake.
Wakate no Yoake
The industry's most storied festival of young brewers, founded by young breweries themselves in 2007. Since September 2022, camo Inc. has run it in Otemachi, Tokyo, having taken it over from the breweries. Selected breweries from across Japan gather to pour their own sake and talk with drinkers directly. With 40+ editions and 150+ breweries, it is where you meet the future of sake.

Wakate no Yoake 2022

The year camo took over and a new chapter in Otemachi began.
Wakate no Yoake was born on September 9, 2007, at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo. For 15 years, volunteer breweries served as organizers across Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Fukuoka and more. Many breweries that took flight here now lead the sake scene.
Konsai
A festival of Japanese drinks born in spring 2025 with the opening of Takanawa Gateway City. Featuring shochu breweries as well as sake, it is an open, street-facing celebration enjoyed with food from kitchen cars. People new to sake wander in and meet an unexpected glass, and it is becoming an early-summer fixture in Takanawa.

SAKE LEADERS SUMMIT
A conference designing the future of the sake industry together with its key people. Across alcohol policy, exports, succession, GI, branding and education, brewers, government, researchers, distributors and overseas practitioners gather to debate the issues the industry faces. Holding a forum that builds the industry's foundation, not only events for drinking, is a vital part of sakejump's role.
